I'm going to the drugstore tomorrow to get some makeup for school cuz im going into high school but I don't know what brands to get. what's the best mascara at the best price? Covergirl Lashblast, Great lash, or something else? and also best foundation, which one should i get? Liquid, powder, or mineral? i have oily skin that gets dry easily so if anyone could recommend a foundation that would be great. Also some good eyeshadows too. thanks! Oh, and I want some colored eyeliners like purple or navy preferably retractable. Do you know any drugstore brands who make those? thnxx

  1. maybelline has the best stuff for everything except for mascara...Rimmel has the best mascara

  2. i like ALMAY for my skin...

doesnt break out AT ALL.. the foundation/cover-up/ pressed powder

    save my skin

i used loreal for mascara.. the volumous one or something..

    and maybelline eyeliner

  3. like cover girl...like liquid foundation from cover girl in like the blue cap is like good

  4. Hi! Here are some of my favorite drugstore makeup brands:

1.L'oreal : I love their True Match foundation. If you get the right shade, it will blend seamlessly into your skin, and it won't make it feel greasy or dry. I also would recommend buying some bronzer or some translucent loose powder to set the foundation. Also, their eyeshadows are amazing!

2.. Covergirl.  Most of their makeup is wonderful, and affordable! I would recommend any of their foundations, especially Trublend. Their eyeshadows are also excellent!

3.. Maybelline. I highly recommend their Great Lash mascara. It's excellently priced and works wonders. I also love their eyeshadow.

As far as the colored eyeliners go, I know mostly every makeup brand makes those, although I never really use them. I know for a fact Covergir, Jordan, and Milani all make them.

I also personally love using mineral makeup. Milani is your best bet as far as this goes, and it's only $8 ! L'oreal's is also a great brand, but a little pricier.Jane also makes a great mineral makeup, and is only $7.

Also, if you got Sunday's newspaper I would recommend looking for coupons, as most major drugstore cosmetic brands distribute money saving coupons! I hope your shopping trip goes great! I'm sure you'll find everything you need and look lovely :-)

  5. it depends on your skin type. i have fair, sensitive skin. so these are my picks:

foundation is definetly mineral. bare natural by loreal. it looks and feels like you are wearing nothing and i love putting it on with the brush. swirl. tap. buff. for natural looking skin. and it wont clog your pores. it is good for oily skin! and dry skin! I have both! take it from me! for eyeshadows, i say covergirl. some brands stick to only one pallete of colors. covergirl does ALL the colors. the brights. the neutrals. the bolds. the pearls. but covergirl is on the cheaper side so get a primer on your eyes first. oh and i LOVE lashblast!!!

  6. my favorite brands are Rimmel and Covergirl :)

  7. Covergirl lash blast. its cheap and it works it volumizes and u get big bold lashes this seasons look. or Define-a-lash by mabelinine new york. mineal it blends in wit ur skin color. cleansers work for oily skin. pat dry so it duznt get oily again. u can get colored eyeliners just bout anywhere. Target is good to get them and accually rite aid is too

    hoep it helps

    -xoxo gossip girl♥

  8. My favorite mascara is Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost and after that Colossal, Great Lash, Sky High Curves and XXL. Mineral foundation is the best, I'm so glad that someone invented it. It gives me more coverage without all of the heaviness or breakouts. It makes my oil spots dryer and my dry spots more moisturized. Most drugstore eyes shadows really suck to me, they end up all translucent so it looks like gray c**p. The ones that have good pigmentation and stick are max factor and milani. I haven't tried many Wet & Wild eye shadows but I got this one called Mega Eyes and the eye shadow actually works well to me, unlike Rimmel and even a Revlon one I tried. For colored eyeliners that are retractable they have Almay and Rimmel, neither of which I like that much even though I swear by Rimmel's professional liquid eyeliner and kohl pencils. If you can maybe find a Rimmel kohl pencil in colors then they would be the best. Otherwise I just use wet & wild because they really work better now, their quality has greatly increased in the past year.

  9. 1. Lashblast:D

    2. If you want a very, very natural look, go for liquid, but if you want a kindof natural look that has more of a difference, go for mineral. liquid, i suggest revlon. and mineral, i suggest almay.

    3. for oily skin, i recommend liquid (if you have breakouts, get concealer too!)

    4. rimmel eyeliners are the only cheap good ones i know of, but they're not GREAT.

    oh and good eyeshadows:

    -hip

    -rimmel

+ i'm in love with the revlon creme eyeshadows.

    good luck

  10. I love Lashblast, so go for that. As far as foundation goes, I don't know. I love Rimmel for eyeliner and Maybelline or Covergirl for good eyeshadows.
