What's the Best Mountain for Snowboarding in New England and Mid-Atlantic?

My friends and I wanna take skiing. I live in NJ. We're looking for something challenging. We just got back from Mont Tremblant, and need something even more. What's the most difficult and the most fun (terrain parks) to ski/snowboard up in New England or Mid-Atlantic.

I've been to Killington and Gore, so those can be eliminated.

  1. challenging, eh??? jay peak(vermont) is quite challenging, especially the glades...in maine, sugarloaf is the most challenging and highest mounjtain...stowe(vermont) is famous for its double black diamond "Front Four" trails....if these dont get you going nothing will!!!!

  2. SUNDAY RIVER!!! pretty nice rail park and an pretty good tranny park, when i went they were working on a halfpipe, plennty of trails too

  3. MOUNT SNOW  is right up there as the best parks this year. You may spot a pro or 2 this year at snow.

Straton (had x games there few years back)

They have a buck nasty park, they actually just finsihed a PRO terrain park for a contest that they recently had there,

LOON NH also has some buck nasty steez, they were also in transworld as #5 park in the US last year.

Whiteface, last but not least, has a nice park, but nothing compared to the vermonster @ MT SNOW\

Jiminy Peak In Western Mass is a really fun mountain, NOT huge huge park, but fun..  (i work there)

  4. Stratton is known for boarding but I officially vote for my home mountain Bolton Valley, known as the hidden gem of Vermont.
