  1. By being a walking, talking Muslim ( practising Muslim), ur deelings with them should be honest & u should make duwa for them late at nite, that they may be saved from Jahannam> & u shall be rewarded 4 it until he is alive & whom ever he has given dawa 2.

  2. When a companion of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) asked Ayisha, wife of the Prophet as to what was the conduct of Prophet (PBUH) is she told him that his conduct is QUR'AN.  So, the best way to do dawah among non Muslims is the best conduct.   The companions of the Prophet (PBUH) went to all countries throught out the world during and after the life of Prophet (PBUH) for dawa.  They know only Arabic and no other language.  The Prophet (PBUH) never told them to learn the language of the country where they are proceeding.  The companions of the Prophet (PBUH) came to Kerala where the people speak Malayalam.  The people of Kerala and the King were attracted to them due to their good conduct and they converted to Islam willingly.  They talked to the heart of the people.

  3. With depth of your heart ask Allah to guide them!

  4. improve your character and show the world that ur a muslim. Dawa is not through by preaching, but by displaying your character, and you know how it should be.

  5. so not act act self righteous and to come across as a good sensible person rather then a preachy idiot

  6. this is the best way brother:

"Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the better way. Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is best aware of those who go aright" (16:125)

  7. you have to work hard waqas

you have to memorize scriptures of both islam and other religion then make dua . good character is a must . that alone is not enough . you have to preach them . if good character alone was need why did muhammad(pbuh) speak to the world oneness of allah

so i decided to give a break in ramdan (ya) for studies i will move to a different place so i have to study for dahwa i have only one month remaining  i have finished similarities between islam and christianity

within a month i need to study about islam hinduism and science in Quran i mainly depend on zakir naik s lectures

  8. Assalamu Alaikum.

First of all, this is a big subject which scholars have explained the many ways and basic qualities of a Da'ee. The very basic is to follow what Allah (s.w.t) has said in the following verse.

Call people to the Way of your Rabb with wisdom and best advice, and reason with them, if you have to, in the most courteous manner: for your Rabb knows best who strays from His Way and He knows best who is rightly guided. (Sura Al-Nahl: Verse:125)

Now I tell you what I know about. It's just my personal understanding and please don't take it to judge or as a ruling. Something I want to say.

Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) is the best role model for us in all aspects of life. We follow exactly how he prayed, we follow how he walked, how he eat, and so on and even the minute things of our life.  Now we also have good example of his calling mankind towards Allah. So the best example is our beloved Prophet (pbuh). Also Holy Quran clearly says how all the Prophets (pbut) called their people towards Allah and they are our best examples.

A Da'ee must practice himself to what he calls. He must have certain qualities. Firstly no minute benefits other than the reward of Allah should be expected. He must be patient and kind to his people. It is that Allah will give the qualities gradually in Him when he follows the Prophet (pbuh). He strives in the day and cries before his Lord for the guidance of all. He thinks of heaven for him and others and fears the h**l.

A shop keeper must have the quality of a business man to sell to people. A soldier should have the qualities of a military man to defend his country. But what happens if military rules apply in a business... customer would run away. Likewise politician have the quality of debating and arguments. Lengthy speeches without practice. They seek the pleasure of men and not the reward of Allah. They wish fame and applause for their doings. Then what happens if we use their qualities in calling mankind towards Allah. People would run away. Unfortunately because of many of our forsaking the best example of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) and the ways of messengers in Da'wa, came to this Ummah instead, the lengthy debates and arguments. Long speeches till dawn and hardly any able to attend for the Fajr Jamaah in the Masjid. So to call towards Allah for a Daee, one should follow and bring the qualities of the Messengers (pbut).

Then, many of us think that Hidayath is just a matter of explaining and understanding. Of course that's a part but not all. There is something call 'Athar' meaning effect of your speech on someone. It's not necessary for one to be a good in speach and proving others the facts. Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) was not the best speaker of Makkah. Nor was Hazrath Musa (A.S) able to talk well and also are Allah's messengers. for Eg:- Suppose a mother is holding her accidented child in her hands in a street and looks at it and cry and speaks her pain out. She says many thing in her language, But all people around would understand her pain. They all would have an effect on her sorrow even if they don't understand. The language doesn't matter there. The words of the mother comes from the core of her heart. So it reaches unto hearts. In fact our beloved Prophet (pbuh) had all the time was this sorrow in his heart. It comes in Hadith about him that, he was all the time in thoughts of the Ummah, always he had a pain in his heart. Scholars say that's what Allah says in the Holy Quran;  'O Muhammad, you will perhaps fret yourself to death with grief because they do not believe. (Sura Ash-Shuaraa: Verse:2) The same also comes in Sura Al-Kahf verse 6.)

So the Hidayath is from Allah and it is we strive for Him in the true ways. Allah will utilize us for the Hidayath of many.  It is also not necessary for one to learn Bible or Geeta in order to preach a Christian or a Hindu. But we must try to learn Holy Quran and the Sunna as much as we can and apply it in our lives.

The above answer of Muhammad Ali Basheer tells you the story of how Sahaba came to our south Indian lands. Their language was Arabic but our ancestors accepted Islam through them. It's just their sacrifice, their best of conduct and the way they preached. May Allah reward best to all those Sahaba (R.A) who sacrificed their life, time and wealth in the efforts  of the Deen of Allah. They eat little and slept little in the way of Allah. Only few of their graves are seen in the Hijaz where their home lands are. They reached the east and west of the world for us to enjoy this fruits of Islam and to be successful in this world and the eternal.

May Allah forgive all Muslims, May Allah make all of us  Da'ee (Callers) towards Allah and give us the qualities of true believers.

By here I  take leave of Yahoo answers for a while in order for preparations for Ramdan.  I request my reader to pray for this sinner. Beg for me too when you beg for thyself in the darkness of the nights.

    Jazakallah Khyr.

  9. We initiate da'wah principally with ourselves by displaying characteristic of believers from the Qur'an and Sunnah, such as good manners and noble qualities.

“The best of you are those who possess the best manners.”

“On the Day of Recompense nearest to me will be one who displays in one’s daily life the best of manners.”
