What's the Best way to gain weight without junk food?

I'm a skinny guy, but not anorexic. I'm 5'7 and 122lbs. I find it hard to gain weight even when i eat lots of junk food. I think i have a high metabolism.

Any suggestions of eating the right foods and daily routines? I lift heavy weights at home and use to drink protein shakes. Maybe i should start again.

i want to gain 5-10 pounds by New years. Do you think that is possible?

  3. Keep working out and eat more good food. Junk just turns to fat. Exercises that engage large muscles groups are best. Do squats, deadlifts, rows, bench press, rather than leg extensions, bicep curls, flys. Look how the biggest, strongest athletes train. They work to make their whole body coordinated, fast and powerful. If you can get access and a couple friends, tackling sleds work just about every muscle you have. If you're super ambitious, find a good SC coach and learn about Olympic lifts. Best weight training in the world!
