Question:

What's the Maori insult ?

It was suggested tennis fans do this whenever a player takes an injury time out before a set is finished. Unless blood is shooting out your veins like a firehose, it shouldn't be allowed.

So, I am assuming this term Maori insult means something about booing that practice. ?

  1. Woah I am confused. The Maori are the native people of New Zealand (which is why your question attracted my attention). I am not entirely sure what a Maori insult is and why it would be connected to tennis... the thing is there are not that many New Zealanders or Maoris who play tennis. I have never heard of the term before. They were great warriors tho and New Zealand sports teams often do some form of Maori dance called the haka before their games. But as far as insults go I can't really help.

    Sorry.
