What's the Quickest Way to Get from Edinburgh to Kirkcaldy?

The quickest way recently was a Hovercraft service between the two but dont think it is running at present .Train or car I'm afraid !

Get the 09:10 train from Waverley. It gets to Kirkcaldy at 09:43 & takes 33 minutes. Costs £5.90 single, £7.40 return.

Train would probably be quicker than going by road.

i think if you go by train it could be quicker than car traffic ,i used to travel that route ,you can leave from waverly or hay market,arriving at kirkcaldy fresh
