What's the Rock City in Nottingham like? I'm seeing a band there in July and I'm curious?

What are the prices for drinks like? Is it standing only? Is there a cloakroom?

I went there a couple of years ago and its a good venue. Its not massive so you can get a good view.

Rock City is one of the UK's best music venues.

1.  It is standing room only

2.  There is a cloakroom, and they charge £1.50 per item

3.  There are 5 bars in the club;  drinks can be cheap if you go on the right night, but even normal price drinks are good value.
