  1. The stragest thing happened to me when i was 13 yrs old.I was standing at the dinner table using my new paper shredder, but i noticed that the atmosphere in my house was kinda different that night,i didn't think anything of it.I looked on our front porch and i saw the most beautiful snow white cat sitting right at our doorstep. Then i went back to my paper shredder and continued to work, but suddenly i felt this overwhelming presence. To my surprise, there was a lady in a white dress standing right beside me,i was completely frozen as she stared me in the face. She had long black hair and a white dress, but i can't remember anything else. This lasted for about 10 seconds and then she just walked into the wall.I ran to the back room to find my mother, but i just couldn't tell her what was wrong. She kept asking me "What's Wrong,What's Wrong"?and i finally told her what happened.

The part that surprised her the most was the white cat. When my mother was a child, she saw a ghostly white cat in her bed.To this very day,my mother is afraid of cats.My mother saw this ghostly white cat shortly before her grandmother (my great-grandmother) died.

I felt that maybe it was the same cat ghostly cat that my mother had seen when she was a child and now i was seeing it,like a sign or something. The white cat that was on the front porch the night i saw my first ghost walked into a drain pipe, never to be seen again.

When my sister was little, she saw man wearing a hat, sitting in a chair staring at her. Both of us have had several OBE experiences. My Mother has the most psychic premonitions of anybody in the household, she'll have a dream about something and usually it will come true.

  2. i would like to say i met mr.ghost rider in my bathroom but nobody would believe me!!!!

but one strange experience i can never forget is as follows

it was during my math test and i had like gone there pretty prepared, durin the test my class mate was sittin behind totally clueless!i felt sorry for the guy and helped him a bit actually a lot!and when the results came out i like got 40% and this guy got 70%!!!!!man was i disgusted!!?and i have not come to the strange part yet!!!so in my frustration i threw my answer sheet outside on the road on my way home thinkin that i would just forget the whole incident but when i went to school the next day the very same paper that i threw out ended up in the hands of my principal!!!!i dunno how it happened but i became an "out"standin student and also got a weeks detention to boot!guess it all happened because i helped that friend of mine!

one lesson i have learnt is never help anybody in the act of copying but rather indulge in copying and gettin help!!!

  3. Going to bed one night, and I walked right through a Shadow person. It was dark but I could clearly see the outline of the dark matter shadow person. In the shape of a man. About 6' tall. And yes, it spooked me.

  4. Seeing pictures fall off a wall & a corning ware coffee potslide across a counter then go up  into the air & come apart.  Windows going up & down.  All this @ the same house.   That was not counting the sightings I have seen. Or the things that have happened in my own home.

  5. Premonitions, I have dreamt some strange dreams that have awakened me in the night.Every single time, that event has happened in the real world. Now I no longer pass it off with ''aww its just a dream''.Neither does my family, tho' we may not interpret it correctly at the time, but it usually reveals itself.

  6. I'll try to summarize this as simply as possible.

It was the middle of the day, and I was taking a nap in my room. I was asleep, and was dreaming about a group of several people of unidentified origin standing around. I saw no faces or anything; simply knew they were there in the dream. As I slowly drifted into consciousness; being not entirely awake but coherent enough to notice physical things around me, I heard my brother's voice and saw him crouching in the corner of my room. I thought this was peculiar and out-of-sorts, so I made some angry remark to him. He stood up and vanished (I was able to acknowledge he was there; yet not see his face. It was a strong, physical feeling that a being was there and I knew who it was; that was all.) However, upon his leave, I recalled my door was locked from the inside and therefore I must be alone. Just then, I felt a deceitful presence around me - and without even analyzing things, I knew that my "brother" was some sort of other energy. I was frightened, yet in such a state of shock that I did not become scared or react. I soon after became more awake; at this point I was not in between sleep and wakefulness any longer. I suddenly felt a tingling feeling in my feet, creeping up my body; from my legs to my torso, arms, and fingers. I was fully paralyzed and unable to move. I immediately slipped into a surreal sort of state; my mind went fuzzy and became aware that something else was occupying my immediate space. In my mind, I asked hesitantly for a sign that something was here. So help me God, a noise resembling a fingernail sharply scraped the corner of the plastic part of my mattress under my sheet; starting near my head and slowly, dreadfully, moving down the bed, around the foot of the bed, and up the other side; ending near my other ear. It didn't stop there - one of my arms lifted up against my will; still paralyzed. As it was set back down, the other arm lifted in the same way. After this, both my feet were levitated at the same time, along with my head to a significant degree. I was set back down after a few seconds, and fell immediately into a deep sleep.

I don't know how or why this happened; only that it must have. It was entirely real, and I still recall it with almost perfect detail despite the fact that my mind seemed to be in an alternate state. I'll occasionally wake up at odd hours of the morning, feeling (I swear to you) possessed by some other split mind, and I've already performed mild actions such as getting violent with objects in my room due to the actions of this alternate mind. However, I go back to sleep so soon after, that dwelling upon any detail is nearly impossible; only that I know it happened. I frequently am told I sleepwalk, and mainly sleeptalk, in seemingly nonsensical, incoherent murmurings. Demonic spirits are said to make contact through backwards speech; so I've always been curious as to what I say. Ouija boards, in addition, have told me that I'm a candidate for nocturnal possession; and this alludes to my occasional nightmares of dwelling with demons and the presence of other fearful elements.

  7. Does drinking and passing out count as an out of body experience? Uhh anyway...

I didn't really believe in ghosts, until about 4 years ago in the house I grew up in. It wasn't that old, as a matter of fact the one I moved into is 50 years old and completely void of anything spiritual. Anyway, I was in the hallway of the house, it was dark, and at the end I saw this kind of gassy blue light, and I dunno, it was kind of scary, but I wasn't scared. I just stared, and I honestly don't remember what happened, I think it just disappeared and I kept walking. I remember standing in a slight trance, for about a minute though. There were other things that happened though, after that I started noticing. Always in the hallway. I'd be in the lounge room and there was this sliding door that was transparent, and sometimes I'd see people walk past, often when everyone was in bed, or no one was home. Really freaky stuff.

  8. Birth. After that everything has been wierd.

  9. When I was 16 (now 23), my best friend and I were watching tv at my parents house while they were out to dinner. The living room is just an open doorway away from the kitchen. During a commercial break we heard noise sounding like Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap! coming from the kitchen. When we went in there, all the flour products had been flung to the floor. The bread that had been near the toaster, the homemade bisquits, the tortillas and the wheat crackers were all in the middle of the kitchen floor. The strangest part was that all the stuff was on different countertops around the kitchen. No one was home but us and my cats were outsiude. Also, the succession of sound was too fast for a human to have been able to do that.

  10. I had three things happen that were very strange and stuck with me.

When I was in first grade we had an assembly for the whole school, about 600 kids.  A teacher was going to pick two names out of bowls. One bowl had all the boys' names, the other bowl had all the girls' names.  I prayed as hard as I ever have in my life to have my name picked, and it was!  It was probably just coincidence and I'm not religious but the fact that I prayed so hard and got what I wanted simply floored me.

The second was when I was about 10 years old and lying alone in my bed. I was awakened by the sound of something tapping on my window.  (My bedroom was on the second floor and there was no way anyone could climb up to it.)  The tapping went all around the perimeter of the window.  I couldn't see what it was because of the drapes and the way they were hung.  And I was too scared to go look!  Anyway, it made a slow trip around my window and, when it got back to where it started, it stopped.  I never heard it again.

The strangest thing to ever happen to me was when I was playing with a Kreskin game kit.  Kreskin was a mentalist back in the 70's or so and he fascinated me.  I bought his ESP kit which contained a deck of five cards.  The five cards had a star, circle, wavy lines, cross, and a square.  Anyway, one time I'm concentrating very, very hard on the back of one of the cards and, all of a sudden, the wavy lines appeared on the back of the card with a fuzzy white background.  It was as though I could see right through the card!  And I was absolutely positive that I was right.  Sure enough, (obviously, or this would have been a lousy story!) the card was the one with the wavy lines!

That reminds me.  I've got to see if I can do it again. :)

  11. I've had what some may say was sleep paralysis but I think it was something else.

I was in bed late one night, when for some reason I woke up. I tried to move but I couldn't. I tried to speak but I couldn't. My eyes were still working fine and I could look around the room.

Then I glimpsed that something was at the end of my bed. I tried to get a better look at it but then it yelled at me, "don't you dare look at me." At that point my eyes rolled into the back of my head. Although I had my eyes open earlier, I couldn't open my eyes again no matter how hard I tried. I was completely awake.

I prayed to God to get this thing away from me and then it was suddenly gone. I could move and my eyes were back to normal. I was so freaked out that I clinged close to my husband and fell back asleep.

I thought it may have been sleep paralysis but I don't necessarily believe it was b/c of a similar experience my sister had.

A few months later my sister visited us for a few weeks. She was reading in bed one evening when all of a sudden she heard someone yell "get out!" She heard it again, this time it was in her ear, "GET OUT!" When this happened, my husband and I were fast asleep and there was no one else in the house.

She ended up staying up most of the night b/c she was so freaked out.

I've also woke up to something tapping me on the shoulder. I lay there completely awake feeling this finger tapping me. I was so scared that I couldn't react. I just ignored it and moved closer to my husband and tried to fall back asleep.

I've had a few other random experiences, but nothing as scary as those.

  12. me and my friend were talking about ufos and a strange light came across the sky after a while we were talking about bats and a bat landed on the ground beside us.then when i was riding my bike home i went by this creek and i was thinking that somebody was going to jump out at me to try and scare me and this bird a king fisher almost took my head off.talk about high gear.all the way to the house

  16. ooo, I remember when I was little, I was sleeping in bed and the door to my room was closed and my cat was on top of my pillow- also sleeping. As a kid I was always afraid of the dark! And suddenly I heard a paper bag (like some one was punching it) And that was creepy because when I looked at the bag, the noised stop. And it wasn't my cat because I checked and she was still sleeping on my pillow. I had no siblings and my parents were asleep, so no one could have been doing this! So who was punching the bag? I haven't know the answer for all these years that passed by.

  17. once when i was smoking weed i went blind for like 20 seconds.

  18. All of the strange things that happened to me may have been abnormal, but since I have never had an experience that has requried anything but a normal explanation, they certainly weren't paranormal.

  19. yahoo answers for me,lol

  20. Probably listening to my partner when she became posessed by her goddess. We were both in complete awe. Have never experienced anything like that before.

  22. I was six and lived in Trenton , MI . When the family and I were sitting on the living room couch watching TV, they all of the sudden heard a loud crash that sounded like glass breaking. We ran down stairs to find the remains a light bulb in swept into a dust pan with a broom standing next to it , between that experience many things happened in that home such as things flying across the TV stand onto the floor was one creepy experience.Another is when my mother one day was doing laundry and something screamed boo in her ear . What ever was there in the home struck me in the back with a shoving almost like a smack when i was sitting down and watching tv and shortly after My mom had told me at night she would hear footsteps around her bed at night on a daily basis.”

  23. Playing poker in the first four hands.I got an Ace high heart flush, full house 3 aces+kings,4 of a kind Ace's and a straight flush A-5 in hearts. The Ace of hearts was in every hand. The strangest part, for the rest of the night and morning I rarely saw more then a pair.

  24. I got a premonition.

  25. Both of my parents are gone now..recently, in fact. I own the family home, now. Mom has visited me in dreams. Daddy has spoken to me on the dream phone call. But, 2 Thanksgivings ago..I saw them both in the kitchen smiling at my family as we sat around their diningroom table sharing the meal and sharing memories of Thanksgivings just like this when they were alive with us. During a very special memory that made us all laugh, I turned my head and saw my Parents standing in the kitchen smiling with us and saw them walk away. My feeling was one of total peace and it was amazing...I kept that sighting to myself until I e-mailed my older sister..she has also seen our Parents in her home in another part of the country. They are checking up on us, I think!

  26. my best friend randomly ends up saying what i'm thinkin and me n my cousin who are like twins have had joint dreams 3 times

  27. There are two occasions I can think of where a recently dead pet has visited me.

The first was when I was quite young.. maybe 5 or 6. We had an old German Shepard named Pepper. She was the sweetest dog ever, but because of her age, she had pretty bad arthritis and was constantly in pain. I was in our backyard walking around, when I saw Pepper running towards me out of the corner of my eye. I turned to her and held out my arms for a doggy hug, when right as she was in reach, she disappeared. I don't remember feeling scared, or wondering where she went. I don't remember much of anything else that day. However, when my parents got home, they told me that they had put Pepper down that same day.

When I was 15, I got this tortuous shell kitten named Moxie. I raised her from a kitten and loved her very much (although she was super quirky) She was and indoor/outdoor kitty, and sadly when she was about a year and a half old, she was hit by a car and killed. About a week afterwards, I was just waking up from the nights sleep. It was probably about 10am, the sun was up pretty high I think. I felt something small jump up onto my bed (specifically, it felt like a cat). Moxie had been our only cat at the time, and I slept with my door shut. Anyway, she jumped up on the bed and walked around my body, settling on my chest. I opened my eyes a little and could see her, but when I opened them all the way, she (along with the weight on my chest) disappeared. After a while I felt her come back. She sniffed around my face and I could hear her purring. She then jumped off the bed and I went ahead and got up. I was filled with a sense of peace and happiness.

Both of these are happy memories, but they are definitely strange.

  28. Premonition: I had a feeling that I was going to be involved in a car accident. Sure enough, 2 hours later, the car I was riding in ran a red light and hit the rear fender of another car. No one was hurt but that has always stuck in my mind.

  29. I tend to "just know" things. I'm not claiming to predict the future, but it seems that I have very, very sharp instincts. For example:

A girlfriend of mine and her fiance were exstatic because they just discovered they were pregnant. They were so happy and so in love and everything was going right.

For some reason, when she told me, I didn't feel the overwhelming excitement and happiness that I should have - instead I felt very skeptical, almost like I didn't believe her that she was pregnant. Obviously, I went through the motions of being excited for her, but whenever I was alone with my husband I would tell him that there was something weird going on, and that I didn't feel that my friend was actually pregnant.

Well, weeks passed, and months passed. There were ultra sounds, and her belly grew big.

I could see the evidence clear as day, yet I still didn't feel excited for her, and still felt skeptical. I stopped mentioning it to my husband because it was clearly crazy to say "She isn't pregnant" or "There is something strange with her pregnancy" when she is coming along fine.

A few weeks ago, and at 28 weeks pregnant, my friend went into early labour and her baby did not make it.

Everyone was devestated... obviously. I had this overwhelming sense of understanding. I knew that since I was less shaken and less surprised by the incident than the others, I have to be the support she needs right now. I would never tell her that "I knew it all along," instead, I will just be her shoulder to lean on... I think that is why I even "knew" in the first place - so I could be there for her.

When alone with my husband, I reminded him of my earlier skepticism. He has been witness to my instincts before, so he is the only one who can actually vouche for my claim.
