What's the URL for a picture?

on facebook, there's this thing that says "add image"

then it says "URL for image:" .......

what is the url for an image ?

You need a hosting account. Then put the image up on the server. The url to the image will be the path to where it is on the server.

Say you have an image that is called deer, and it was a jpg file, and you put it in a folder on the server called images, and the domain name was pictures.com



The url for that image would be http://www.pictures.com/images/deer.jpg

semco-marketing.com is domain name. The image is called DGH1.bmp and I placed it in a file called Doghouse, in my alanwaynejackson folder.

If you upload your picture to a website like photobucket; its the address of the picture.
