The Vietnam Embassy website doesn't state the Visa fee and they don't reply to their email!

  1. $60 for a single entry tourist visa

  2. Do visa on arrival around 20 USD can send request to : vdtours@vnn.vn

  3. You need to phone them.

    - Visa fee: Money Order or Certified cheque, payable to THE EMBASSY OF VIETNAM. Please contact the Consular Section by phone at (613) 236 1398, or (613) 236 0772 ext. 21 or ext. 32 or ext. 25, or by fax at (613) 236 0819 for information on current visa fees.

  4. Can you tell us where you are now? If you are in the States, yo can contact either Embassy of Vietnam in Washington DC (1233 20th St NW, Suite 400 - Washington, DC 20036 - tel. 202.861.0737 ) or Consulate General of Vietnam in San Francisco (1700 California St, Suite 430 San Francisco, CA 94109 Phone: (415)922-1707) about the Visa Fees. You also can contact any Travel angency that sell tickets to Vietnam, they can help you to get visa easily.

  5. As the previous answer stated, you need to contact them by phone or e-mail ( they'll probably get back to you eventually) in your country. I live in Thailand and have traveled to Vietnam on numerous occasions, and the Vietnamese Embassy here states that the rate changes often due to currency fluctuations, therefore you need to contact the embassy to find out what the latest fee is, depending on what the Canadian dollar has done compared to the Vietnamese Dong in your case.

  6. Have you already bought your air ticket? When I traveled to VN, my travel agent booked my flight and told me the cost of my visa was already included in my final price. She also told me that she does visas for those who didn't get a ticket from her and it usually costs $50. I would just call a local travel agent.
