I'm 18 and planning on going with my boyfriend whose 22, is the age limit allowed on Princess Cruises? I know I have to be with someone 25 and older to go to Carnival, does it also apply on Royal Carribean?

  1. go to princess.com and read their terms and conditions /then do the same with carnival.com.

Have a great time if you go on the cruise.

  2. The requirement on Royal Caribbean and Princess are different.  Both require that at least one person be age 21 or older.  So you will be OK booking either and also, YOU WILL GET A MUCH BETTER CRUISE.

    Here's the Royal Caribbean policy:

"No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be reserved in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age, or older. This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms or under-aged married couples (proof of marriage is required). Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to ask for proof of age. Royal Caribbean International's age policy for gambling and consumption of alcoholic beverages is as follows: Please note: An individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation."

    Here's what Princess requires:

"Passengers under the age of 21 years must be accompanied by a Passenger 21 years or older who shall assume responsibility for their care during the cruise. Each Passenger hereby agrees and warrants that he/she will supervise any Passenger in his/her care at all times to ensure all policies, along with all other rules of the Carrier and ship, are strictly adhered to by all Passengers under their supervision.  No alcohol may be purchased or consumed by any Passengers under the age of 21. No Passenger under the age of 21 shall be permitted to engage in any gaming activities on board the ship. No Passenger under the age of 18 shall be permitted to purchase cigarettes or tobacco products. Passengers hereby agree not to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind (except wine and champagne) on board for consumption."
