What's the application for letter writing in Vista?

What programme is available in Microsoft Vista Home Premium where I can write a letter. I only know about WordPad.

  1. Well you can use Notepad, or simply download open office from here:

    That has got a load of things.


  2. my vista came w/ a trial version of ms office but like i said it's just a trial version there is a free one you can download on the net that is similar to ms office it's called open office, google it.

  3. remember in vista when you  load the software to load it under administrator

    or you may find will not run

    ms work & office xp will run in if you an old  disc  

  4. Microsoft won't bundle Office with Vista when it can make money selling it separately.

    Like the guy above wrote, download Open Office. It's free and can do anything MS Office can do.

    Office 2007 is for people who just like nice colours.
