What's the average height for a 13 year old girl?

I'm 13 (will be 14 May 2009) and I'm 5ft 8 and a half. Is that freakishly tall?

My Mum is 5 foot 6 and my dad is 6 foot 3.

And an average would be nice.

I have a friend whos 13, and she's around 5ft 10" and healthy. I'm 13 and I'm about 5ft 5", apparently a bit under average (which is around 5ft 6")So no, you're not freakishly tall, just a bit over average :)

well i have to answer this question myself because i am also 13 and 5'8 so ur not that tall

Your height is above average for your age (but you are certainly NOT freakishly tall) and you will probably peak at 5'10 at the age of 15 when girls usually stop growing.
