  1. A few years ago I heard that the average height of European women is 1.65 meter, (as I am that height I do remember,) (about 5'5" if I did my calculations right) and while that is a few years back, it will not differ much now.

But being Dutch, I am well under the average height in my age group here.

Several people have already told you where you will find the taller people in Europe, but in each of the European countries you will find people who are taller than average and people who do not reach to the average.

So unless you are over 1.80 in most of Europe, over 1.90 in the countries with the taller people, you will be able to find clothing.

In the Netherlands we have a store where they stock for women who are 2 meter tall and over, and they do have choice in clothing as well as shoes.

I do not remember the name of the shop but I met a customer of the shop, pleased with the choice.

She was English and did have no choice, had a hard time finding even fitting shoes in the male departments of shoe shops, in England while still living there.

  2. Europeans are built like hobbits... really short and stubby.  Most of them aren't over 4'.

Are you white?  Then you are European... seriously, they are built just like Americans.

  3. There is no general average height in Europe.

It should not be a problem to find lady clothes from 1.65 cm to 180 cm.

  4. Well in American terms, I'm 5ft 10.... tall enough for you?

There is no "average" for the whole of Europe - it's a pretty big continent - you tell me what the average is for the Americas (North and South combined) and then you will understand what I mean

Depending on which country you live in, will depend on what kind of sizes of clothes/shoes there are.

Here in the Netherlands it's not a problem to get clothing and shoes to fit.  If I go to e.g. the Balkans or Italy, then it is more difficult.

So your answer is .... it depends!

  5. dutch, scandinavian and people in the dinarian alps are the tallest... but nah you wont have problems with finding clohtes unless you're like 2 metres
