What's the average height of a college setter?

Question

I'm gonna start setting in club and stuff so am I tall enough?

I'm 6'2", Korean, and originally played outside (main) and middle (secondary).

ok........YOU ARE SETTING! NOT SPIKING!! there is no height for a setter because you dont block or spike. all you need is a good set. if the outside hitter is taller than you then set it REALLY high but away from the net. high balls have a tendency to float to the net so just do a regular corner pass. anyone shorter than you i would say do a defensive pass but make sure you let it float. if its too fast they cant get up in time to kill. just try an easy floater pass and compromise with your outsiders!! HAVE FUN!!

I don't think height has much to do with it - it is more on the hands if you are setting or not.

I am 5'9" and a hitter.  I played college ball doing that at that height.  I also have friends that are over 6' that set and hit.  But it is all in the hands.

If I were you, I would worry more about setting than how tall I was.

your so tall and lucky. i wish i was that tall. i am a setter and only 5'8. i am at the border line for height, the shortest college setter i think is 5'6. you are pleanty tall!!!
