    15’s-18’s Monthly Fee-

    Generally speaking, to play club volleyball, expect to pay 500-2000 a season for fees, plus travel and meals.

    You can go talk to the club director or the coach to get more details, as dollar amount could change by lots of reasons, such as someone scored a sponsor for a certain season.

    Why should I choose ClubArrowhead?

    Club Arrowhead Is the finest girls and boys volleyball club in the northwest valley.  Club arrowhead is a non-profit organization established in 1995 to develop middle and high school athletes to compete at the regional and national level in Junior Volleyball.  Each year several teams have finished in the top 10 of the Arizona Region.

    Club Arrowhead is dedicated to the young athlete.  Providing a solid foundation of fundamental skills that will help them not only as an athlete but also as an individual.  Our main focus is to get our athletes exposure to college coaches and assist them in extending their volleyball career.

    What credentials do your coaches have?

    All our coaches and assistants are IMPACT, CAP I OR CAP II certified.  Additionally for everyone's safety all our coaches and assistants are CPR certified as well.  Our coaches have been  and are the following: collegiate coaches, collegiate players, junior high coaches, high school coaches and officials.

    How long is the club volleyball season?

    The boys' season runs from September until mid December.  The girls' season runs from November to June, and exclude all major holidays.  In some instances, seasons may be extended due to participation in National Championships.  Both the boys' and girls' seasons exclude major holidays.  In some instances, seasons may be extended due to participation in National Championships.

    When and where do you practice?

    Practices are determined on gym availability.  Most gym facilities are located in schools in the Peoria and Deer Valley School District.  Practices are 2-3 times a week from 1½ hours to 2 hours a practice.

    How many athletes are on a team?

    Most teams will not have fewer than ten (10) and will not exceed twelve (12) players.

    Does everyone get to play?

    Club Arrowhead believes in giving everyone an opportunity in tournament play as long as each athlete fulfills their obligation to their team. The following team divisions are as follows:

    National -(18's12's) These teams will participate in all local and regional tournaments.  18's  15's will also participate in (3) out of state tournaments plus Cactus Classic or Fiesta.  14's  12's will participate in (1-2) out of state tournament plus Cactus Classic.  These teams will also participate in the Arizona National Qualifier to receive entry into the USAV National Tournament or the Junior Invitation tournament.  This season can extend to the end of June for Boys and Girls.  Boys will have a break from January to May.

    Playing time is not automatic.  Each player must earn his or her position. Coaches do their best to give everyone an opportunity to participate in the tournaments.

    Regional - (18's-12's) These teams will participate in all local and regional tournaments.   They will also participate in (1-2) out of state tournament plus Cactus Classic.  Season ends May or June.

    What is the difference between open team and club team?

    Open teams have 4-5 tournaments in the season allowing those teams more "out" of state tournament play.

    Club teams have 7 tournaments in the season providing those teams with more  "in" state tournament play.

    When and where are tournaments?

    Tournaments are held on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.  1:00 p.m. and/or 3:00 p.m.  8:00 p.m..  The majority of all tournaments are held in Arizona.  Some may be as far south as Tucson or as far north as Flagstaff.  The Arizona Region will notify us when and where specific teams will play.  Due to gym availability and cancellations, we may not be notified until the week of play.  Changes can occur as late as the night before a given tournament.

    Do we travel out of state for games?

    Yes!  All National and Regional Teams will travel out of state.  10's are non-traveling teams.

    Can I go to the out of state tournaments with my child?

    Yes! We encourage parental support at all tournaments.  Parents are responsible for their own travel arrangements, accommodations and fees.  All athletes will travel as a team and stay together as a team.

    What do my start-up fees and monthly payments go towards?

    Club Arrowhead Inc. is a non-profit organization.  Start up fees cover USAV membership, insurance coverage, uniforms, Arizona Region tournament fees and Club Arrowhead membership fees.  We are solely funded by your monthly payments.  Without your monthly payments, Club Arrowhead would not run successfully.

    Can my athlete be sponsored?

    Yes, sponsorships are welcome.  Athletes are responsible for providing their own sponsor.  They can apply them either towards a team or an individual.

    Do you have fundraising opportunities for my athlete to help pay for the fees?

    Yes, we have great fundraising opportunities.  We offer 3-4 club organized fund-raisers each season.  Team parents are welcome to organize additional fundraisers for their teams (i.e. garage sales, car wash etc) if they desire.  Many Club Arrowhead athletes have paid for their entire out of state tournaments with our fundraisers.  

    Additionally, at the end of the season, we hold a fundraiser benefiting our community.  We hold one mandatory fundraiser per season.
