  1. The least expensive cruise would be a three or four night cruise to Baja California.  Both Carnival and Royal Caribbean offer these out of Los Angles.  However, Royal Caribbean will stop offering these in October 2008 (the ship is moving to Florida and will not be replaced).

There are also several one week Mexican Riviera cruises from both Los Angeles and San Diego.  I would recommend either Carnival, Norwegian or Royal Caribbean, since you have teenagers.

There are also four and five night cruises to Cabo out of San Diego on Carnival.

These are the best choices for a family with teenagers in Southern California.

  2. Well I would have to say the mexican riveria cruise. It is the cheapest cruise form california and would be well suited for this age group.

The one thing you should really look for though is which cruise line you would like to take. I would reccomend either of these two.

princess= A good relazing family cruise. Very good dining. Great service.

carnival= A more up-tempo cruise. Surroundings can be somewhat overwelming, but this line is a fun one!

    Good luck!

  3. Royal Caribbean has really good service, and the food is really good on the Monarch of the Seas.  My husband and I went in December 07.  For the price, it's not a bad deal, especially if you have to get more than one room.  Just be aware that the ship is one of the oldest cruise ships around, that's why it's so cheap.
