  1. I'd say Banff, Alberta ... the rest of the Aussies seem to be enjoying themselves here!  Mountains ... great people ... great beer ... what's not to like?

  2. Lots of Aussies go to Whistler (north of Vancouver) to live/work.   It's a resort area with some of the best skiing in the world during the winter months.  Great golf/hiking/outdoor activities in the summer as well.  Big money to live there though.

  3. Montréal.

It's such a youthful, buzzing, bustling, dazzling, cool, hip, exciting place for anyone, has a rich, full, vibrant culture (both French and otherwise) with many unique local aspects and charactaristics, and, what's best? It's VERY bilingual. An Aussie with no French knowledge can stroll down Montreal easily without having to know a word of French. And, on top of that, everyone is friendly (but not behind the wheel, as in cars) and the food is AWESOME! Go to Montreal, you'll thank me.

  4. British Columbia:

From what I've heard BC is one of the most beautiful places ever. My cousin went there last year and he loved it, lots of things to do and places to see. It has the Pacific Ocean beside it and the Rocky Mountains. It also has a lot of national parks and it is an all around beautiful province. I'm pretty sure Vancouver would have a pretty good nightlife too as it is the third largest metropolitan area in Canada.

    Alberta:

Okay in Alberta you have Calgary, Edmonton, and Banff. In Calgary they have the Calgary Stampede, which is one of the largest festivals in Canada. Edmonton has the West Edmonton Mall which is the third biggest indoor shopping mall in the world, and from what I've heard it's awesome. The place I would most want to go to in Alberta though would have to be Banff. From the pictures of Banff National Park that I've seen it just looks like a really scenic and serene place to visit. Alberta also has a few national parks (like BC) and has the Rocky mountains.

    Saskatchewan:

Mostly prairies, but they have Saskatoon and Regina too. Saskatoon has the highest crime rate in Canada though. I really don't know enough about Saskatchewan to tell you more.

    Manitoba:

    Same with Saskatchewan.

    Ontario:

Okay since I live here I know there are a lot of great places to visit here. Okay Toronto has the CN tower, HHOF, skydome, Wonderland, BMO Field, Queens park etc. Lots of great places to visit. Plus my cousin always tells my brother he should be lucky to live so close to Toronto because it has the best night life and it has a whole strip of clubs. Not too far from Toronto is Niagara Falls which has the Falls of course, but also has Botanical Gardens and whatnot. It also has these really cool places to visit like the Ripleys place and whatever. Our capital is also located in Ontario, so there are the parliament buildings there if your interested in that stuff.

    Quebec:

Okay actually I heard Montreal has the best nightlife. Heard it's an awesome city. I've been to Quebec City though and it's really cool. It has like this wall around the city and it looks really historic. Lot's of great places to visit history wise.

    Maritimes:

Heard some of the nicest people live here. Beside the Atlantic ocean, great fishing (I'm a vegetarian though), and beautiful scenery.

Hope that helped. I think Montreal and Toronto have the best nightlife in Canada. If you wanna come up here there are many great places to visit, I can't single out just one. Personally I would love to go to Banff, but I think it's better to go there in the winter. There are many things to do in the summer in Toronto, many festivals and parades, sports events etc.

By far the best thing up here is to have ice caps in the summer from Timmies. Just had one today=) Much better than Dunkin Donuts (plus I hate the way doUGHnuts is spelled).

  5. Montreal!

I can guarantee you this. If you don't like it, I'll buy you a poney.

Not only are the girls gorgeous ( I know I know, I may be blowing my own horn but it's a fact, you'll see )

there's plenty of things to do.

The food is awesome, as mentionned previously, and the nightlife is really great. There's a lot of clubs, bars, and music venues.

Basically, it's a city that never sleeps.

If you happen to be into shopping, we have the biggest underground shopping complex in the world.

Everything's very accessible by the subway, or buses, so you won't have to pay a fortune to get around.

There's also tons of places to stay (hostels, hotels, bed&breakfasts)

The people are very nice (most of em!) and friendly.

If you need addresses, I'll provide you with my favorite.

    Hope I helped!
