I have to take an online drivers ed class (california) to get my learners permit.

I don't know which one to take.

Here are a few examples:

http://www.teendriverseducation.com/site/do/register/select?ref=dmvorg_CLINK

http://www.californiadrivereducation.us/

If you know any others or if you took one comments would help!!!

  1. I'm doing driver's ed on http://www.cal-driver-ed.com/. I'm still in the process...

It's only $39.95 and it takes you through the basics---there's a quiz at the end of each lesson and when you've completed all the lessons, you get a certificate in the mail.

After you finish driver's ed online, you may also want to flip through the California Driver's Handbook, which you can read here http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/pubs.htm

or get a copy at a local DMV.

Then, you take the written test for your permit showing you know the rules of the road and you can start your actual behind-the-wheel training.

Of course, you probably already know this stuff. Anyways, it doesn't really matter which online course you take as long as you get it done. I personally think it's better online since you don't have to sit in a classroom with traditional books and whatnot. You can sit at home comfortably and study at your convenience.

    Good luck! =)
