  2. If I need to post or refer someone to an English translation then I will use the translation of Shaykh Muhammad Taqee ud Deen al Hilaalee and Muhammad Muhsin Khaan. Also known as the Qur'aan complex print.

And the reason is that the "translation" is not merely a translation, but rather it is a tafseer. The English text in Qur'aan Complex translation is written using the Tafseer of Ibn Katheer and of at-Tabaree, so it is the most accurate in the meaning.

All the other translations contain serious errors, some contain serious 'Aqeedah errors such as Yusuf 'Ali's translation. And many of the others such as Marmaduke Pickthall derived their translations from Yusuf 'Ali.

Shaykh Muhammad Taqeeddeen al Hilaalee was a Shaykh and a scholars of Hadeeth (a major scholar of Hadeeth) who knew around 7 languages or so.

It's a shame very few people actually know about this Shaykh and his life.

You can read it here: www.quraan.com

    and here: www.qurancomplex.com

  3. Dear sister,

Ignore answers from ' Shah" and 1factor.

zafrullah and sher ali are Ahmadis.

And Rashid Khalifah was a  well known kafir

And the best translation of the Quran, i believe it is " the noble Quran" by Muhsin Khan and Hilali

  4. I think the best one is the translation of Abdullah Yusuf Ali. I'll give you a link so that you can buy it online. It has the English, the Arabic, and notations beneath of it for verses that are hard to understand. It was the first Qur'an i read when i was studying islam before i converted and if you're coming into Islam or studying islam as someone who wasn't raised in it, this Qur'an is very helpful. I wish you all of the best in your search.

    Peace and Blessings,

    Sakina
