What's the best Gaming Laptop?

I need to know what is the best gaming notebook(laptop) available in the USA within 2500 dollars. And please mention the exact name of the laptop and the specifications or any link if possible.

  1. I would have to say voodoo, but the voodoo site re-directs to HP, because voodoo was bought by HP. The HP laptops are good.

    Asus has the lamborgini, with 1TB of HDD space, but that is very expensive, and is 64 bit.


  2. Try http://www.alienware.com/ they seem to have computers and laptops geared purely for gaming i hear they are quite good but the price might be a little steep.   3. Best?  A tossup between the Alienware Area51 and the Dell World of Warcraft laptops.  Around $3,800.

    Look at the Gateway 7811FX.  I'll be buying one this weekend.  nVidia 9800M video.  $1,449.  My 6860FX is almost as good as the Alienware (single 8600M, as opposed to dual in the Area51), so I'm expecting the 7811 to be as good as, or better.

    If I have to complain about the 6860, the battery sticks out a little in back.  Seriously.  I game on it, I develop software on it, I watch TV on it - I even run it as a virtual world server sometimes.  I'd only trade it for a 7811.  (Dual drive bays, yet.  How's 640GB grab you?  Quad boot.)

    This is a power desktop in a laptop case.  I can't wait for Saturday.

    ^^ that gives you all of the XPS. And then its up to you to get the rest, and the note book xps is up there too.

    There are the 2 note books ( Seires ) and you can pick your laptop color too. Wich is always fun!

    They are know for gaming and are in the gaming section.

    Hope you make the right choice.

    Also if you want look into the HPS too. they are very good.
