I need a new A/V receiver. I need at least 3 HDMI 1.3 inputs. What's my best option for under $600?

  1. Both of my suggestions have only 2 hdmi inputs but you could use an hdmi switch to get more options.

I prefer Denon, the AVR-1908 is around $600

Yamaha also makes a very good receiver, the RX-V663BL for around $500

If the hdmi inputs are really a must, Onkyo TX-SR606 has 4 and is an excellent choice (around $500)

  2. Golfer gave some great answers.

The Onkyo's have been winning some praise recently because they have the bells like HDMI up-conversion.

    TX-SR605 - 2 HDMI

    TX-SR705 - 3 HDMI

The 505 ... has some limits so go with the 705.  Hit your local comparison site as the prices are different.
