What's the best Software to Scan Zip File from Limewire???

There are a couple of programs that i want to download off of limewire.The last time that i tried to download a program off of there my computer got spyware & i had to have it fixed.Now i know that unless i extract all the files from a zip file i can't get a virus.So what i would like to know is if i download a zip file program from limewire what is the very best software to scan it with for viruses before i extract all of the files?

Every zipped file i have download from limewire are packed with viruses put there by torrent protester, utorrent is safer.

Don't download zipped files from limewire you are just going to get a virus.

limewire is safe if you no how to use it, if you want to download a song make sire the file size is about 5,000kb roughly

and norton is actually good despite what people say, as soon a syou download something scan it with norotn

actually, any antivirus software will work. use whichever one you have. just right-click on the zip file and click "scan with... (your antivirus software's name here)."

and extracting it wont get you a virus. just executing the stuff in there will.

and why do you use limewire? it is so unsafe. use torrents. they're better, cleaner, safer, better community. you need a torrent client (www.utorrent.com) and then search for files here: www.thepiratebay.org

people like to infect others just for the purpose of getting their private information. i've done it before too.

use torrents. there's more software to download, music, movies, etc. with torrents too.
