  1. It's by bus. When you exit "Arrivals" get either the blue buses (faster but a bit more expensive) or the orange ones. They both go to Venice and they are far cheaper than a cab or a water taxi.

    Have a nice trip!

  2. I'm not sure it's the cheapest, but it's a nice trip for sure: try with Alilaguna (water transport): http://www.alilaguna.it/?lang=en

It takes you on the most important places in the town.

  3. Bus.

  4. Cab.

  5. the cheaest way is take bus number 5 from Airport to Venice Piazzale Roma. (every 30 minutes; journey takes 15 minutes approx). The bus color is orange and the ticket, that you buy inside of the arrival hall, costs 2 euro. Make sure you must or must not buy a ticket also for your piece of luggage. This bus takes you to Venice, car terminal (Piazzale Rome). It depends, then, how far your hotel is from there. There are public boats running (line 1 along the Grand Canal etc) but the ticket is 6 euro.

Blue buses are more expensive but also more comfortable. Schedule and ticket in the arrival hall. See also

Alilaguna is a good solution if your hotel is near St. Mark's because it has a stop in St. mark's and you travel directly from airport via water mean.
