I've tried a bunch of defferent products. I've found that Simple Green works well, But I wondering if anyone knew of a good product that works well. The owner of our slips will not allow us to install Spider nets. He claims that he sprays for bugs a lot , but I don't think he does a very good job, and I keep getting tons of p**p on my boat.

  1. Elbow grease. But have you tried Raid's spider spray? I use it around our boat(28ft)& our friend's boat , the shore plugs(I hate when spiders are in there) and the gate. It works great just reapply after a rain, and a can will last most of the season.

  2. Mr Clean eraser removes spider p**p and the brown stain around the water line ( if your keeping the boat in muddy water)

It also makes chrome look nice and brite

  3. Hi, Carburator Cleaner works especially well on canvas and convertible tops, and rubber bumpers and stuff around the whole boat. Great for cleaning the seats too. U can get it on sale for about $2 a can occasionally. It cleans gunk off most things, but doesnt harm the finish. I am a detailer for a living, 30 plus years now. I know its pricey in the long run but it works great, especially on mildew. Whatever Carb cleaner is made of, it doesnt damage plastic or rubber parts. Just be careful to test a small inconspicuous spot first; some parts are dyed; and don't use it in hot and direct sun, it will stain!!  Good Luck!!!
