  4. Come on.....they're the worst places?, come down to area's of Manchester like, Longsight, Gorton and Moss Side and see how far you can walk without being, mugged, shot, stabbed, beaten, killed or all the above.

  5. Middlesbrough (like 5 miles from me lol) according to Channel 4

  6. Id say one of the best places are cornwall to live, such a beautiful place from what i've gathered...

Worst place to live I'd say London......

  7. The best places are Surrey Oxfordshire and west London. Worst places have to be Edmonton and Tottenham in North London.

  8. there was a book about that forget its name and actually oxford was one of the worst places to live, i remember that because i was surprised, there were other surprising places too. but i would vote london best and worst. tho croydon is no gem.

  9. For people the North, for money and weather the South.

  10. It depends on so many issues such as how old a person is, s*x, marital status, religion, health, working, retired, even sexuality!

For example there are wide differences in England on the sort of health care you can expect from the NHS. Some regions may spend more on cancer patients than they do on stroke victims. So if you have a health problem that needs to be taken into account.

The extent of crime also varies widely from region to region. Some inner city areas are almost no go areas at night and some provincial towns may also have problems with youths and rowdy drunks every weekend.

Do you prefer an idyllic spot in the country far from anybody or the city with all its jobs, amenities, theatres, clubs, attractions etc?

Some areas of London are undoubtedly unsafest at the moment. However that may be only applicable if you are young, in a gang and of a particular race. On the other hand there are many areas of London that are relatively safe and following sensible precautions as you would anywhere will not put you at undue risk.

Obviously any built up area with a large population is going to have its crime and it is more likely to be in the news. What matters is the percentage of burglaries per household, number of assaults per 100 people etc. and from that viewpoint a small town could be worse than a city.

The 'safest' areas in England are probably to be found in some of the smaller villages and towns in East Anglia or the West Country that have a strong community spirit and a local police force still in touch with the people.

  11. according to the internet yorkshire is the best place to live and the worst place to live is lincolnshire

  12. The Best Place Would Be Where I Live Wrexham :D,,

The Worst Place Would Be Birmingham Coz You Would Probably Get Stabbed

  13. Wrexham is in Wales not England. The best place i think is Yorkshire.

  14. Middlesbrough is the worst and the best is Edinbrough in Scotland(not England) there is no best in England.
