What's the best and worst time of day for doing yard work?Why?

What is the best and worst time of the day for doing yard work? Like digging a 2 foot deep trench, lawn mowing, weeding etc? What's the best and worst time of the day to be doing yard work? What time of the day should people avoid doing yard work from? Also why?

It doesn't matter to the yard when you do your digging, mowing, weeding etc. It depends what is most comfortable to you. I prefer to do yard work in the early morning before it gets too hot and before the insects get active.

They're rite, in the morning is the best time. It's still cool before the afternoon heat. However, there is one thing that I do prefer to wait until at least 11 am or so to do, and that is mowing the grass. Why do I like to wait, because the grass is still wet in the early morning and tends to glob up in the mower. If I wait, the sun dries the lawn enough to where the mower can throw it out, mo bedda!

Mornings are best. Less stress to the plants because of heat.
