  1. You could go to Belden alley.  It's between bush and pine, kearny and montgomery.  there are about 7 restaurants, all with outdoor seating.

stay away from waterbar and epic roasthouse unless you're made of money.

  2. MarketBar at the Ferry Building

  3. As always fogjazz gives great suggestions.  I agree with her on the waterfront area for the views.  Two other places you may want to consider:

Delancy Street [Embarcadro at Brannen] the patio is lovely with a nice view of the bay.

Americano in Hotel Vitale [Mission and Stewart] bustling place with a great view of the bay bridge.

  4. I agree that all of the Belden Alley restaurants with outdoor cafe tables are great, as is Cafe Claude in the next alley up the street.  But for the best combination of drinks, view and general ambience, I would opt for The Market Bar in the Ferry Building or the Gordon Biersch Brewery on the waterfront south of Market Street.  Beautiful bay and city views.

  5. i like the ramp  right on the water

  6. There are quite a few. I like Plouf.

  7. North Beach/Broadway/Enrico's
