  1. I would have been Cotto's body shot to Mayweather (If Mayweather had the gal to fight him), but I'll have to go with Hatton against Castillo

  2. Jose Torres vs. Willie Pastrono,1965.

  3. Mike Tyson to Michael Spinks, put Spinks down for the 1st time in his career & then put him out with another shot 20 seconds later for the last time of his career.

  4. Both mentioned were good.  But I would have to say Margarito-Cintron from April.  It was absolutely brutal!!!

  5. Gotta agree with Peter H. on this one... When Roy broke Virgil Hill's rib, it was just ugly. Even the ring announcers were talking about how they could literally hear the bone snap from ringside.  Doesnt get any better than that.

And yes, Hopkins dropping De La Hoya was a nice one too.

  6. It has to be Roy Jones Jr. One shot  to Virgil Hills  ribs it was a devastating blow a world champion does not get KO by a single body shot Roy did it

  7. All the ones mentioned before my answer are great examples. Personally, one of my favorites was shown on Friday Night Fights on ESPN2, a couple years ago. I don't remember the fighters' names, but the losing guy was hit so hard that he went down and rolled on his back, holding his stomach and moaning VERY loud in pain. The referee noticed it right away and instantly discontinued his 10-count.

Maybe someone here has a better memory of that fight and can tell me the two fighters' names who were involved in that fight.

  8. hatton vs castillo has got to be up there he broke 4 of his ribs

  9. Every other one that will be mentioned will be a left-hook to the body....RJJ's was the only RIGHT hook, it is unbelievable, not only the speed, power and technique it took to land a right hand from that distance to the body - but that it wasn't done against some novice or a bum, it was done against Virgil Hill, who had been reigning as a champion for years.  Moreover, after the other ones, the recepient usuallly gets to a knee, sits up, but just can't recover.....Virgil Hill recieved a legitimate broken rib from the shot, and never got off his back.

All the other ones named were great shots, Micky Ward, Hatton, Hopkins, etc....but you're not going to see one like Roy's.

  10. Hopkins on Oscar was a good one. You could actually see Oscars rib cage move up when Hopkins hit him.
