  1. Michael S. Allen

  2. Frank Fabozzi has some excellent ones on portfolio management, especially on the fixed income side. His Handbook of Fixed Income Securities explains most strategies (ie DCA, laddering, barbells) and explains technicals such as duration, convexity, OAS, CDM, and valuation techniques. Its the industry standard, and fairly affordable.
