Question:

What's the best book or documentary out there on Voluntary Simplicity?

I'm looking to more towards simpler living. Looking for a good book that will inspire, motivate and hold my attention. A documentary film on the subject would be awesome, too.

I'm documenting my own experience here:

I'd love to have a good Voluntary Simplicity resource to point people towards.

THANKS!

  1. not sure of a good book, but would suspect the folk at freecycle.org would have an answer compatible with your need...I have come across some very down to earth people who live simply and have all that they need and more.

  2. Look for, of all things, a cookbook titled _Diet for a Small Planet._

    Practical, informative, and timely.

I first read it in the 1970's.

  3. Watch some of the Treehuggers TV

(ignore the internal server error message at start and scroll down)

You will love the no impact man. He (and his family) are trying to live a no impact lifestyle for a year
