What's the best brand of 'clone' golf clubs?

I've heard the most good things about Pine Meadow Golf, but how does anyone know how Tour Power, Diamond Tour, etc. stack up?

I'm talking about clone clubs, not counterfeit knock-offs.

I have tried clones (Ping knockoffs). I thought the look of the club was spot on, so they must be good... UNTIL I played them. There is a huge reason why better golfers play better equipment. I found the knock offs were fine for beginning and shooting 100-105, but when I got tired of getting drummed I switched to better gear and the strokes started shaving off with my confidence. you can most likely find late model stuff for the same price. Let the name brand research and technology assist your game. I fought technology for a while, until I realized that hitting my drives in the screws with the old driver was going about 280. A friend convinced me to play the new bigger head and I found that I am playing 310-330 yards drives with less effort.

Just watch any competitive golf round,  you will never see a knockoff, think there may be a reason why?

clone, counterfeit -- neither are the real thing.  Take flatsticks advice.  Ask yourself how these company's customer service will be before buying.

Rather than take a risk on clone clubs why not just buy a brand name set that is used?  This way you save money, but don't have to worry about the quality.
