  1. either the SONY PS3 or just a  regular SONY blu-ray player...you'll get quality

  2. the ps3 is currently the cheapest blu ray player and is the best as well. it is faster then other models (how many have 3.2ghz processors) and is firmware upgradable so you will always have the most up to date player. it is also a great game console which comes at no other cost because most blu ray players are $400 which is the same as ps3. i can confirm that it is a great blu ray player.

  3. great for the money the aquos is good too

  4. I personally think that the Panasonic is the best.  I have the PS3 as well, and it is amazing, but I like the Panasonic because it can output the High End Audio formats as bitstream and not just PCM.

Anyways, I felt the same way about DVD players.  I have owned Toshiba, Panasonic, Sony, LG, and a few others, but my Panasonic DVD player is the only one I still use.  It works great after 10 years and I would expect the same great quality with their Blu players.

  5. The PS3 is no longer the cheapest blu-ray player on the market like the first person answered, but Sony is the creator of Blu-Ray technology and it would probably be a good bet then that they would have the best player on the market, if you believe that then its quite possible that a PS3 is the cheapest Sony Blu-Ray player on the market.

Personally I like Samsung for most of my stand alone electronics, I think that with Sony you are typically paying more for the name, With the PS3 you are also getting a great game console, so there you go...

There is also an old adage that goes something like this, "You get what you pay for." Spend your money wisely and you will not regret what you bought.  Do some research your self and figure out what is the right player for you.

  6. Panasonic,easy set up.

  7. I like my LG. I am not really a fan of Sony, even if Blu Ray is their technology.
