no rips pretty flexible for a 4/3 and very warm

all my friends have em and now thats all they get now

trust me it may be a couple more bucks but its worth every penny

  3. rip curl and o neil good quality they are strong but flexible

  4. It all depends on what you use it for, the temperature of the water, your size and comfort, experience and type of wetsuit.

    You have to consider:

1.Do you plan to use it for snorkeling, surfing or scuba diving. There are surf suit and there are wet suits.

    2. The colder the water, the thicker the suit: There are really thin ones, like dive skins, then surf suits, then (scuba) wet suits of different thicknesses; You can also wear a 2-piece suit, and if it's really cold, you can try a dry suit.

    3. When it comes to size, you want to make sure it fits snug in the store, but when you get in the water that it doesn't chafe or stretch out too much once you get in the water. You might find out it's too big because it slides up your legs into your crotch and also begins to choke you. (2 piece can be good here)

    4. The best way to know is to try out a few wetsuits yourself a few times by renting before you buy. Often the same size is different by brands and their advisory weight/size charts usually suck. I've been told by one of the owners of Body Glove that I was about 4 to 5 sizes smaller than my corresponding chart size. Be aware though, rentals, over time stretch out, so consider purchasing a larger size than you rent.

Try the dive shops first, they tend to have better selections than places like Sport Chalet or Sportmart, etc., which are there to only get your money.

Also, make sure you're not allergic to it. Some people are, so they also have to buy full body dive skins, which usually solves thier problem.

  5. o neal or solo is proberly the best but a cheap one is something like hot or west coast wetsuits.

  6. The brand of wetsuit isn't important, the fit is the most important. My queen just bought a C Skins suit to replace her Roxy suit cuz the fit was better therefore it worked better. Personally I've had a Sola suit which after 2 years stretched beyond use, now I use a C Skins which fits like it was tailor made and is so warm considering it's only a 3x2mm. Try on as many suits as you need till you find the right fitting suit.

  7. Sola Are A Good Brand But Very Expensive.

    Try

  8. It really depends on where you are going to be diving. I dive in tropical waters and I use a Pinnacle Merino wool (www.pinnacleaquatics.com) 3mm full body, wetsuit. This suit is very comfortable and will allow me to dive year round. You have to find something that you are comfortable in (thickness and body type), will offer you the best protection (we have box jellyfish around here so look at where you will be diving at), and something in your budget. I would not recommend buying something without trying it on! Have fun!
