  1. Muzzy broadheads are very good bone-breakers, I have used Muzzy broadheads for years and been very satisfied with their performance.

For example, my younger brother shot a deer that was coming down a hill, and the arrow passed clean through the deer from the left front to the right rear, passing through the big bones of the left front quarter and the right hind quarter. It did not even damage any of the cutting edges of the broadhead.

  2. The type of broadhead you use depends on what kind of game you are hunting. If you are going after big game like an elk you will need a heavier broadhead and most likely you still wont be able to shoot through bone. For deer your best bet would be to use a Cut on Contact broadhead. G5 montecs, Muzzy, and Thunderhead broadheads are all very similar and reputable broadheads. I have had bad experiences with expandable broadheads and am not sure if i trust them. Personally i use the G5 montecs they are compact so it ensures good arrow flight and they also are cut on contact and are a one piece broadhead meaning they are durable. Good Luck and have fun!

  3. Magnus broadheads are very solid and will go through bone. They are simple, steel, fixed-blade broadheads that are low maintenance and extremely tough.  Also, if you can find some of the old-style Razorback broadheads, you will be very pleased with the results.  They are hard to find, though.  Good luck.

  4. M uzzy 100 or 125 grain, thunder head 125 grain. Slick trick 100 or 125 grain - There are others but these meet all the assests you named, that I have personally taken game with.
