I'm 17 in November and can't wait to start driving!

I'm getting a car for my birthday but I can't decide what one?

Any ideas?

  1. 92-95 Honda Civic VX Hatchback. It will get better gas mileage than anything on the road so you'll save a ton of money. The EPA rated them for 48/55 MPG.

  2. the number #1 most reliable car according to professionals is the "toyota corolla" you simply CANNOT go wrong by buying of those cars, they have adequate horsepower, comfortable ride, great gas mileage, super reliable, and room for 4 people , if you want something a lil sporty buy a honda civic, they are just as good but have a more sporty interior.

  3. Don't get a too expensive one "in case" something happens and don't get a too cheap one either. (: and like the other person said, buy a car that saves some gas, since gas is sooooo expensive now. ;D

  4. A car you don't mind denting. Go for a honda fit or a Scion, Used...

  5. If you have money, Scion tC. They are fairly cheap and they are extremely nice. Good safety, pretty good horsepower and a nice, smooth car to drive. They are about 17K. But if your parents will help pay or cosign for you, I would try that as long as you can make the payments. If not, either a Honda Civic or a Nissan 300ZX. Both fairly reliable cars that will react nice to a teenager first learning to drive.

  6. My first car is a '96 Chevy Cavalier and it's been really awesome. No major repairs at all.
