What's the best chateau/castle to stay at in France?

We want to be within 3 or 4 hours of Paris so we can drive it.

  1. The relais chateau company has the best ones in France ... and offers many around Paris.

    The one I recommend is in a village called Saint Symphorien le Château; it's superbe and just -o miles away from Downtown Paris.
