Question:

What's the best choice with nipple piercings? Both at the same time, or separately?

I'm thinking of saving up some money for a christmas present to myself, which means I have plenty of time to think about this.

But, my question is when having your nipples pierced, is it best to do it one at a time, or go for the whole hog and have them both done?

I appreciate the help!

  1. if you are tough enough then you can do both at the same time but it hurts.... :p

  2. when your body senses the pain of a piercing, it releases endorphins to make it hurt less and make you feel better (it's why a lot of people enjoy getting piercings- a natural high). when you get one and then another right after, your body uses up all the endorphins on the first one so the second one KILLS. like, waay worse than the first one.

however, when you get them at separate times, it's really hard to get them even (so they might end up crooked, even if it's a good piercer), and then you have to go through that pain on two separate occasions. i'm not gonna lie, nipple piercings really, really hurt. so once you get the first one, you'll dread getting the second one. and then you'll have double the healing time, where you have to take meticulous care of it, and not go in hot tubs or swim in the ocean, etc etc etc. taking care of a healing piercing is kind of a pain, and if you get them both at the same time the recovery period will be shorter.

i personally got mine done at the same time. it was exceedingly painful and it hurt so badly for the rest of the day, but it was nice to get it over with and not have to worry about it anymore. and they're perfectly even (: hopefully that kind of gives you something to base your decision on, but in the end it's completely up to you.

  3. Well, unless you're good at handling the pain, then i guess go for both at the same time. But I think you should just do it one at a time. First, just to experience to see if you can take care of the piercing well enough for it not to get infected and also to decide if you like having a nipple piercing or not. Then, when you're more experienced and if you want another piercing, it will be a piece of cake since you've already done it once.

  4. ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... id say dont have it done at alll no offence but they look gross mate x

  5. If you can take it. Both, and get it over and done with.

Better to have both b***s hurt, than one hurt for twice as long...

    Healing isn't exactly enjoyable anyway.

But theres no real reason to have both or one. just personal preference.
