What's the best college I can hope to get into?

I would really like to go to either George Washington University, LeHigh University, or Villanova University. Do you think I could get in?

GPA: 3.6 (I've taken Honors and AP classes)

Class rank: 27 of 152

SATs: Math:700, Critical Reading:600, Writing:600

Activities: Job at a pizzeria, Science club, yearbook, freshmen mentors

I also have strong letter of recommendation from four of my teachers in english, television technology, biology, and math. I want to major in biology. I am white female who lives in South Jersey.

If you don't think I could get into these colleges, what is the best one you think I can get into?

Don't worry about where you THINK you will be accepted, apply to where you WANT to be accepted.

I honestly think you have a nice shot at all these universities, with Lehigh being slightly harder than the rest (but you still have a nice shot)...All these schools are matches for you, so definitely apply. You don't have much leadership, but if you can nail the essay, you'll have a great shot despite the lack of leadership. And you do mention strong recommendations, so that's a big plus.

I would also look into NYU and Boston University. Good luck :)

you can definitely get in to those universities but dont stop short of your goals if their is truly a college you would LOVE to go to

I think GWU is pretty assured, and possibly Lehigh and Villanova.  Have you looked at Drexel?  Also a fairly good school.

I think if they don't accept an intelligent, well-rounded student - they are crazy.

You should apply to the colleges you want to go to, not just the ones you think you could get into.
