What's the best country to teach English in, regarding salary/cost of living?

What is the best country in Europe/the world to teach English in, that has a good salary/cost of living ratio?

I want to go somewhere abroad and teach English but at the end of it I want to have earned a decent wage and at the same time not lost it all due to a high cost of living.

You state representative or senator will have this information for you or will be able to help you get it.  I suggest you contact your state rep or senator and inquire about it.  My guess is you'll find many opportunities in Asia... perhaps India being the best country.
