Question:

What's the best day to go to a restaurant?

I've heard that there are particular days where restaurants usually get in new stock or re-use old stock from previous days. Does anyone have an indication of what days are 'no-go' days in terms of the majority of restaurants reaching their 'low-activity' period where they will use old produce?

Simply, are there days where restaurant food will not be as fresh as it could be?

  1. i worked at a restaurant. the new stuff came in mondays and thursdays.. plus mondays are less crowded.. less wait.

  2. Friday and Sunday nights are when the old lady and I go out (most of the time).  It's something about the atmosphere that I like on Friday and Sundays.

  3. To find out you need to know when the dustbin men come round for the rubbish. That might be a good day.

  4. Most of the time they get a shipment on Thursday for the weekend.
