  1. It's all the same; it will be crowded year long. I went on a Thursday. The lines weren't too long =). Just wait about 15 mins.

  2. We've been twice, first time on a long weekend (July), second time for a week (August), neither time did we have to queue. Excellent. So much to see, I recommend going on the Vatican tour (you may have to queue but well worth it to see Cistenes chapel at the end...mindblowing!) and also the Spanish Steps. Have a great time...tip...red lights mean nothing in Italy, it's every man for himself! lol

  3. Rome is a wonderful city...I don't think it matters what day you go to the Colosseum all the days are the same there...you might find it interesting to visit the Vatican ..but book a tour online.... if you don't ,you have to wait in line for a couple of hours..but it well Worth seeing...even if you are not religious...by doing a tour you will get a lot more information about the Vatican

  4. i'm italian and i live in rome...each day is the same but if you come on the last sunday of the month you can visit colosseum and a lot of other monuments without paying...

(sorry for my english, i have to practice)
