What's the best floor steamer for home use?

I am looking to purchase a steam floor mop to use on my hardwood floors. I was interested in the H2O mop (as seen on TV...) but most of the reviews were terrible.

I would prefer to purchase this in-store instead of online, so what is the best and where do I get it?

Hardwood is more expensive than softwood, not least because the forests from which they come, are scarce. In order to deal with this, there is the concept of Hardwood veneer. What it means is, that if your floors are made of Hardwood Veneer, the whole thing is not hardwood.

The bottom of the flooring will be some other substance, like say concrete. The hardwood is sliced, and placed one on top of another to the desired thickness.

I don't know but I ordered the H2O and it has the handle in sections that are held together with plastic parts guess what is going to break first?  I sent it back.

I got one of the canister type Shark steamers.  It looks like a small canister vac.  Yeah, some of the attachments are a little flimsy but if you give the steam a chance to work (a couple of seconds as nothing is totally instant), that is not an issue.

We're so used to having to scrub because cleaning stuff just doesn't work or takes time to work and we're impatient!  I love my Shark steamer!  It's wonderful for cleaning anything grease related like the gas grill, stove, range hood, cupboards.  It also does a great job on windows and mirrors, walls and trim!  

I wanted something that could do multiple things rather than just floors and I have to admit that I'm happy with my purchase!

I own a shark steamer.  You can purchase one at Canadian Tire.  They are worth their weight in gold because you can use them on all floors, microwaves, faucets(to get out the gunk that builds up) and lots of other places around the house.
