  1. something that's dosen't break when she throws it.....and when she bites it, and when she keeps banging it on the floor.

  2. a teddy bear

  3. You can get her some cute outfits or Disney Princess toys it all depends on what she likes. Good luck

  4. At that age, you are really giving to please the parents.  A toddler of one wouldn't remember your gift (I'm sorry, but true).

Do you remember your presents at one year old?

Anyway, I think a book token or gift token and let the parents buy something useful with it.

  5. Any sort of interactive toy would be best.  Such as learning numbers and or letters, colors, etc.  They also like to do a lot of things with their hands, so anything that can or will make noise when they move it should suffice.  I just bought my one year old niece this Leap Frog thing that has a lot of teaching and singing, she loves it.

  6. clothes

  7. Buy some books you liked as a child...even if they are old for her, she can use them later.

Finger paints and paper and a smock is a good gift as well.

  8. BOOKS    go to a nice book store like Borders, they have lots to choose from--just make sure it's a board book.  Those are the best because they tend to get thrown around quite a bit

  9. Maybe something that has a keepsake quality about it.

Perhaps a small savings bond. Stuffed animals will be gift fodder for little kids of either s*x forever. A different little outfit or unusual shoes. You could buy a couple classes for the little one & her mom at Gymboree or some other place that offers 'Mommy & Me' kinds of activities. I'm sure you have some good ideas.

    Bon chance

  10. The best gift would be hugs and kisses all day. As the father of three absolutly wonderful girls I can tell you this never fails, and anything else you give her is a bonus

  11. cute girly stuffed animals

  12. A barbie or a stuffed animal.

    any child likes those.

  13. shes only 1 so it doesnt matter what u get her just get her like some clothes a toy or a blanket or all

  14. Cloths - the child doesn't understand much of presents yet. It will be a good one for the mother. Next year you may buy a toy.

  15. Does it really matter?  It is more for the MOM than the 1 year old(who is just happy with a "teat" when she is hungry.

  16. I think it should be this pretty pink or red dress of her size or a bigger than normal teddy bear.

  17. i would give her some cds for babies ,they are not very common as presents and children enjoy them.

  18. i just bought my friends one year old the Leap Frog fridge farm. It has different animals that you place in and has a song about making a match and what noises the animals make. Its great and it keeps Jack busy for hours! He loves it! And its cheap it was only $14.99

  19. Hi,

I would give a pop up book, a video or a gift card to a family place like Chuck E Cheese, so the family does not have a 1000 toys all over the house.

Good Luck and Hope this helps :)

  20. A teddy bear!

I have a friend who has two daughters one is aged 4 and the other is 2 last year we gave her a teddy bear and she carries it around with her everywhere!

Maybe you could try and get her a pretty colour like a lavender colour or light pink.

    Good Luck!

  21. buy some  nursery rhymes books or interactive cd's (publisher DK interactive cd's)

  22. Depends on the child and what she likes.... having said that go to Barnes and Noble and find one of those packages with a book and dog/stuffed animal.  Promoting literacy at this age is a good thing to do!
