What's the best golf bag?

What's the best golf bag with all the bells and whistles out there. hubby is retiring and I want to get him a good gift and I dont know a thing about his sport. golf.

I am going to recommend anything that Club Glove makes.  I have had one of their Afficianado Stand Bags for 4 years and it still isn't breaking down.  I play between 60 to 70 rounds per year.  Tons of pockets that are removable and a cooler pocket.  Great straps for walking.  Also has a rain cover.   I have had so many bags and this is by far the best walking bag I have ever used.  

Their cart bags are great too.

it depends on if he wants a stand bag, one with legs, a cart bag which clips to the cart, or a staff bag that his caddy will carry? Look at Taylor made, Callaway, Nike, and other leather staff bags if you want the best.

Since he's retiring, I'll assume he rides in carts more than he walks. Of the cart bags I've seen recently, I'd suggest the Bag Boy NXO Revolver:

Get the same brand like his golf sets. If his using Taylor Made golf sets get a Taylor Made Bag, if Nike get him a nike bag.

gift certificate for sure.  if going for a walking bag with stand, Sun Mountain and Titleist make great very very light bags.

Be a smart golf wife and get him a gift certificate to get the bag he wants for himself.  He may not want the one with the "bells and whistles" if he's not the pretentious type who likes to show off his equipment.  

You might think it is impersonal, but he will thank you for it.  Guaranteed.
