I was just wondering what you use to de-frizz your hair and to get rid of all those annoying fly-aways. I seem to have a fair few, especially round my parting! lol I have been using Tresemme Smoothing Serum but for a while and it seems to help, I guess, but just not an awful lot. I heard some good things about Tigi Bedhead Control Freak stuff from some people but others seem to think it doesn't work and I want to make sure it does before I pay that sort of price! I don't really want one that I have to blow dry into my hair although I don't really mind one that I put into my hair after washing it and towel drying it. Really, I would prefer one I could rub through my hair every morning although I'm not sure if there are ones like that.

I like to curl my hair every now and then, sometimes by accident! lol But I would like to do it properly. I'm not looking to make very big curls, just sort of waves/loose curls. I don't really want to use tongs as I already straighten my fringe a lot and I don't want to do any more damage to my hair. I heard about Tigi BedHead Uptight but wasn't sure again whether it's worth the money. Also, I heard a lot of people now use rollers so again I was wondering what brands you recommend.

So sorry about the long ramble! To sum up, I just a product that will de-frizz my hair and keep it pretty smooth and another sort of tool/product to curl my hair. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

  1. OMG OMG OMG OMG YOUR SO LUCKY 4 ME READING THIS QUESTION U HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME.

GO TO A AFRO HAIR SHOP ASK IF THEY HAVE 'DOREE' I HAVE DOREE OIL IT SOOO HELPS YOUR HAIR STOP FRIZZING AND IT MAKES YOUR HAIR A BIT STRAIGHT!!!

  2. I have used tigi before in the attempt to calm down the frizz. As my hair is naturally wavy. But it made my hair feel really hard and awful. So i wouldnt recomend it.  However to make your hair wavy, after you wash it i would just put it into 2 bit plaits in damp hair and leave it to dry. Or if you dont have time, dry your hair with a difuser. This will make your hair look more naturally styled, like mishca barton or kate moss. (:
