What's the best hair dye brand?

Question

Naturally, my hair color is boring medium brown and every time i've dyed it darker brown it come out reddish.

I don't know why but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good shade and brand for medium to dark brown.

YOU  NEED  TO  FIND  A  HAIR  COLOR  BRAND  WITH  A GREEN  BLEU   BASE  SO  YOU  DONT  TURN  RED     LOOK   FOR  A  LEVEL 4A   OR  3A.  DOESNT   MATTER  WHAT  BRAND   JUST  YOU   NEED  AN  ASH  BASH  NOT  A   GREEN  BY  ITS  SELF  THOUGH  WHAT  BRAND   DO  YOU   USE  NOW  SO  I  CAN  TELL   YOU  THE  LEVEL  AND  BASE YOU  NEED

I have medium brown hair and I used permanent L'Oreal Natural Match in dark brown.  

It worked great, had no red or purple tones at all.

The only problem was that when i first dyed it it was literally black...but as soon as I washed it it was the perfect color.

Of course it wasn't actually permanent, it lasted about 5 months, but I love it!

Be sure to get it in Natural shades, not cool or ash.

I think all the drugstore brands are basically the same, just make sure you get it in a Natural shade and also don't be afraid if it turns out bad when you first see it.

I love Nice & Easy - I have used it for over 30 years and still have great hair!  Stay away from anything that says "warm" or "golden" if you don't want red.
