I'd prefer to hear from those that work there/have worked there previously, or knew/knows someone who does/did.

Thanks, and have a nice night! :)

  1. All possitions have their perks and downs. Most entry level positions have low pay and no benifits and no unions ( or crappy unions). If you get higher up things might be nicer, but they can still cancel you position. You can always get a degree and be a Human Reasources manager. But from my exprience, many HR people are heartless. Work at Disney for a while if you want, but don't get your heart set on being a manager or making a career out of it. That is what happened to me, and I was devastated when I was forced to quit my job at Universal studios. It is VERY FUN  the first year or so. But the magic can be ruined very easily. I worked on rides and loved it, for the most part, your co-workers will get you in more trouble than the guests.

  2. I will speak for both Disneyland and Disneyworld.

A friend of mine worked on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland, CA and made $8.40. The way she was able to make rent was to work over 50 hours per week.

I have spoken with many employees at Walt Disney World, FL and they say that they don't work there for the money. There is a mixed group of elderly (probably retired) and college students that make up the majority of employees.

There is very little (if any) pay difference between someone that serves food and someone that operates a ride. Infact, they even cross train you so you know a wee bit of everything.

People who ride in the parades make more money (so I've heard). I was also told that the characters make a dollar or two more per hour but get less hours as they can only wear those heavy costumes for so long.

As I kid I always wanted to drive the monorail. I wonder to this day how much they make.

  3. the different rides tester and reviewer...mmm

  4. Cruella De Vil!!!!

She's paid to be rude to guest all day!!!

Then, Park Ambassador...  You get to go to all Disney openings and special events but the position only last for a year and you need to be an existing cast member  to apply.

  5. Who cares. I would love working there just being in Disneyland.. who cares about money happiest place in the woorld(:

  6. I live in FL and know most of the employees at Disney World get paid so little, they can't even afford their own health insurance.

I would have to say CEO is the best job there.

  7. I would do a mascot ex. Mickey, Minnie etc. or working with rides ex, Jungle cruise, Big Thunder etc. Other jobs are food (yuk), tickets (standing for 3000 hrs a day), bus drivers (...), hotel staff ( its okay) and etc.

  8. Turing the rides on and off and making them go fast as u want make them go up and down

  9. get a college education then go into saaried management

best job in the park but be carefull salaried mangament is not protected by the union so you can be fired at any time.

  10. a ghost in the Haunted Mansion
