What's the best kind of camcorder to buy?

i was thinking of getting one with a hard drive. but i'm just not sure. is minidv or dvd better? can someone please explain what is good about each type? and can someone please recommend a brand for me. and also, what is hybrid hard drive?

best one is a DVD camcorder. trust me, no camcorder was easier than this. film it, play it direct onto your DVD player. what can be easier? no fuss.

the best are from canon and sony. i repair them they are both good but canon is the better choice, but will cost more!!!
