Question:

What's the best long-term parking near Burbank airport?

I know there are a few options - the airport's own parking for $9/day, VSP parking (I've found many different rates online for them -- not sure exactly what it will cost!), and Southwest parking for around $8/day (with no shuttle).

Buuut does anyone actually have experience with any of these places? I'm concerned about security, of course, but also about ease of getting parked & to the airport quickly and without problems.

If it makes a difference, I'll be gone from 7 pm on a Wed night to 4:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon.

Thanks!

  1. I've used the airport's long term parking area, and I've never had a problem with it.  I park in Lot C.  It's reasonably priced and has pretty regular shuttle service.  My car was safe and sound when I returned from my trip.  Even the guy in the pay booth was really nice!  Easy in and out.  I recommend!

  2. Perhaps the best option for you would be to use either Metrolink commuter rail or MTA buses both of which serve the Burbank airport. Using transit would allow you to keep your vehicle at home saving cost and worry about safety. Some of the locations with direct transit to Burbank airport include but are not limited to; Santa Clarita, Lancaster, Downtown LA, Glendale, many locations throughout the SF Valley such as Van Nuys, Warner Center, Chatsworth etc etc. Check out www.metrolinktrains.com and www.mta.net for specific routes serving your starting point. Good Luck!
